What an absolute honor to once again partner with BODYARMOR State Games to bring one of North Carolina’s largest and most competitive armwrestling tournaments to life annually!

This event is unique for the consistent influx of first time pullers drawn to the sport and table.

The inundation of inexperience provides an incredible opportunity and responsibility for our team, who has not only owned the challenge, but has built our community and sport by providing safe and accessible on ramps for these new pullers to then connect them with teams and communities across the state where they can learn, train, grow, and keep progressing safely.

Community, that's the WIN!

To that end, this tournament wouldn't be possible without BODYARMOR and BODYARMOR State Games sponsoring and backing the tournament year after year.

For the refs in the trenches who dedicated an entire day to keeping pullers safe and keeping the event moving, thank you! We had zero broken arms, and that is a direct reflection of strong refereeing, clear communication, and the safety-first culture we are working hard to build for our sport and state.

Huge shout out to ENC Productions for doing an incredible job livestreaming the event and helping more people experience what North Carolina armwrestling is all about.

And a very special thank you to Ashley Hoing and Hollie Englehart for being the backbone of the tournament. Organizing brackets, calling matches, keeping things moving, and helping the day run efficiently! You both crushed it! (Albeit not as much as Adam crushed the cookies... but close)

This year was also our first year doing overall winners, and it brought a whole new level of competition to the event.

Congratulations to Kayla Stotesbury who is the only person on earth holding both a BODYARMOR Beast Right and BODYARMOR Beast Left trophy after winning the women’s overall on both arms!

Congratulations to Bryce Meadows for becoming the 2026 BODYARMOR Beast Left-Handed Men’s Overall Champion.

And congratulations to Ryan Dunwoody for winning the 2026 BODYARMOR Beast Right-Handed Men’s Overall Championship.

Thank you to every athlete, coach, team, volunteer, ref, and supporter who helped make this weekend what it was. The sport is growing, the community is getting stronger, and we are already looking forward to next year!

BODYARMOR State Games 2027 is headed to Raleigh.
