Delaware Marathon Running Festival The First State's first and largest running festival, the Discover Bank Delaware Marathon Running Festival returns to Wilmington, April 19, 2026

The Delaware Marathon Running Festival, now in its thirteenth year, began as the state's only marathon in 2004. The annual Mother's Day event grew into a running festival, offering a distance for every runner, with both full and half marathons and four-person and eight-person relay options. A USATF-certified Boston Marathon Qualifier, the Delaware Marathon features a scenic loop course, fantastic finisher medals and a fabulous post-race party. RACE DAY: APRIL 24, 2022
