Good morning Pilot Football Family,
We want to address some confusion regarding an old football Instagram account that has recently been posting as if it represents our current football program.
The account is not operated by the current coaching staff. Access to that account was never turned over to us, and it is still being managed by someone from the previous staff. Because of that, any posts or messages from that page should not be viewed as official communication from the current Banning Football program.
We want to be very clear: while we fully support our student-athletes’ right to express themselves, we would never encourage any student to walk out of class, leave campus, or miss instructional time. Our priority will always be our students’ education, safety, and overall well-being. Football is important to us, but nothing comes before our young men being in class, staying on track academically, and doing things the right way.
Unfortunately, some of the recent activity has created confusion and division within our football family and the larger community. Our goal is to move forward with clarity, unity, and a continued focus on what is best for our student-athletes.
For official information regarding the current football program, please follow the Red and Black Football Parent Club account:

Thank you for your continued support of our student-athletes and our program.
