New season, new coaches, new players, same good Blue Coats Youth Basketball! Here’s our opening day rosters for the Fall League. Quick note: Trades are able to happen up until the end of week 2. A trade isn’t a bad thing! They happen for team balance for our growth and development league. Please refer to the schedule on our previous post regarding game time, we wouldn’t want you to miss it 😉

Summer’s ending, Fall’s beginning but there will ALWAYS be basketball! Youth League hoops start tonight and doors open at 5 PM at Chase Fieldhouse. Players will receive their jerseys today after check in. For reference, Court 1 is closest to the entrance, Court 2 is the middle court and Court 3 is farthest from the entrance. Although our league rules have been sent out via email, they will also be posted throughout the fieldhouse as well. We look forward to seeing you this evening and on Fridays moving forward! 💙🏀

Are you ready for our Fall League? After an incredible Summer League session, Delaware Blue Coats Youth Programs will host a draft on September 9th leading into our Fall League season, slated to begin September 11th.

The Draft will begin at 5 PM with our CO-ED divisions ages 6-8 & 9-11. Our Boys League session will start 6:30 PM.

NOTE: Registration for the draft is a separate signup from League registration.

Coaches will have the opportunity to see how players work through drills, team play and interaction. This is a GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT league meaning every player will learn basketball through playing on the court and how to carry themselves off of it.

The stars are all aligned for our Summer League Awards Ceremony & All Star Game! All of the hard work and dedication our student athletes, families and friends have done to make this summer awesome will never go unnoticed. This Sunday we will honor our division champs, watch an all star game for each division, celebrate our nominees and winners of Leadership, Offensive Stand Out, Defensive Stand Out, & Most Improved.

For the first time ever we will be introducing the Team Spirit Award which will go to the singular league team that has showcased the BEST Spirit through our summer session. As well as the Coach of the League award!

Doors open at 4:45 PM. Pay close attention to our Run of Show, we have Rookies first, Vets second and Sophomores ceremonies and games in that order.

We want everyone to support and enjoy the festivities! Be prepared to smile 😊

As we enter Championship Weekend, we want to give you all the details you would need to know for Sundays slate of games.

What time does Championship Sunday begin? 4:15 PM tip off! We’ll begin with two Veteran games on court 2 & 3.

What does this mean for our Rookies and Sophomores? Their games will begin at 5:15 PM on Courts 1 & 3.

When do doors open? Doors open at 3:45 PM.

WHAT IS THE TEAM SPIRIT CHALLENGE? It’s the best way to show your support for your favorite team 😉

The rules are simple, show up, show out and make yourselves known! Over the next few weeks, we will be tallying the points for each team and at our All Star Game & Awards Ceremony we will be revealing the new Team Spirit Award!

We love the energy that’s brought into the fieldhouse for our student athletes and we want to share it with the world 🏀😎
