Things have gotten a lot cooler on courts 4 and 5 at the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex, thanks to Faye Campbell of the Wilmington Tennis Ladder! 😎

They used proceeds from the 2025 ladder to purchase these much-needed awnings! Pouring right back into the community is nothing new for these sweet, unsung heroes! Thank you, Faye!!🤝

2 weekends ago, Junior players gathered in Winston-Salem from all over the state to compete in the Junior Team Tennis State Championships. These amazing kids came out victorious in the 18U Advanced Division!! Congratulations to the Wilmington Team, what an amazing feat!!
Calvin Bebb, Haddon Bebb, Daniel Boehling, Klaus Johnson, Jaxon Rogers, Ethan Ten Brink, Caleb Yandle, and coaches Logan Trimp and Kim Bebb. You all rocked it!

Junior's check out this USTA L7 tournament on August 8th at Porter's Neck Country Club!
*This is a one-day tournament with multiple matches guaranteed, great for players beginner to intermediate.
*Divisions available Boys 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U; Girls 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U.
*Draw format will be a compass draw.
*Matches will be one set to 6, no ad scoring. All divisions will play yellow ball.
*Awards will be given out to the Champion of each division!

Team Weddle is all smiles today, following some heated battles (literally‼️) at Sectionals!

They showed up and showed out in Alabama today, defeating most of their opponents, and will be headed into the semi-finals tomorrow! Let’s send them all the support and well wishes as they battle it out again! Way to go, ladies! 🫡
