That's a wrap everyone. We saw a lot of old faces today, you made our last night one to remember. Thank you all for your continued support and fantastic rolls. You made this gym complete.

Adults class tonight will be Gi! Members are invited to a final get together after class at La Esquina, at 8 o'clock. Be there or be square!

It is with mixed emotions that we share some important news.

After much thought and many conversations, we have made the difficult decision to close Ravensguard Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Our final classes will be held on August 27.

While this chapter is coming to a close, our overwhelming feeling is one of gratitude.

When we considered the future of Ravensguard, we hoped to create more than a martial arts gym. We wanted to build a place where people could challenge themselves, families could grow together, kids could gain confidence, and friendships would be formed on and off the mats. Thanks to each of you, that’s exactly what happened.

Every student who stepped onto the mats, every parent who trusted us with their children, every family who spent countless evenings here, and every teammate who encouraged someone else through a difficult class—you created this community. We are incredibly proud of what Ravensguard became because of you.

Watching students earn stripes and belts, overcome fears, compete, laugh, and support one another has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives.

Although Ravensguard is closing, classes will continue through August 27th and we hope you’ll join us over this final week to train together, celebrate everything we’ve built, and say goodbye as a community. The memories we’ve shared together will stay with us forever.

Reminder to all students; classes are cancelled today for Professor John's seminar!

Next Wednesday, August 5th, Professor John George will be putting on a seminar to raise funds for his daughter, whose husband was just killed in the line of duty. He leaves behind 2 children and a grieving wife. We ask for anyone to donate what they can, with a $20 minimum to attend the seminar. Come out and support and we hope to see you there
