Nearly three continuous hours diving at Blue Heron Bridge, and the mask stayed clear.

Those little purple patches arenā€™t just part of the reef ā€” theyā€™re thousands of Sergeant Major eggs. šŸ 

And those two? Theyā€™re on guard duty.

Male Sergeant Majors fiercely protect the eggs until they hatch, chasing away anything that gets a little too close ā€” including curious divers with cameras. šŸ˜‚

Itā€™s one of those underwater moments thatā€™s easy to swim right past if you donā€™t know what youā€™re looking for.
