What Is Field Hockey?

Field hockey is more than a game played with a stick and a ball—it’s played with 11 players on each team, the goal is simple: use your stick to move the ball down the field and score by putting it in the opponent’s goal.

But mastering the game? That’s anything but simple.

Field hockey demands quick feet, fast decisions, precise passing, strong defensive skills, creativity, endurance, and the ability to compete through every inch of the field.

It’s a game where one play can change everything and where success comes from trusting the person next to you.

At its core, field hockey is about team over self, competing together, embracing the grind, and earning every opportunity.
It’s fast. It’s physical. It’s strategic. It’s relentless.

And once you fall in love with it, it becomes so much more than a sport—it becomes your people, your team, and your family. 🏑💙💛
