This Thursday, we’re coming together for Riley & Giorgia. 💛

Join us at the Wilburton Area Chamber of Commerce for a Community Burger Benefit supporting the families of Riley Parks and Giorgia Franceschelli.

🍔 Thursday, September 24
⏰ 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, or until sold out
📍 302 W. Main Street, Wilburton
💛 $10 meal basket—burger, chips + drink

Every dollar raised will be divided equally between the two families as they care for Riley and Giorgia and support them through their recovery.

We are incredibly grateful to Eastern Oklahoma State College for providing the burger meat and helping make this benefit possible.

Our communities have carried so much heartbreak together these past few weeks. This Thursday, we hope you’ll stop by, grab lunch, and help us surround these families with the kind of love and support that reminds them they are not walking through this alone.

An update on Giorgia, shared with her family’s permission:

Giorgia has undergone two surgeries to repair injuries to one side of her pelvis and both of her arms. She is in a lot of pain and has a long road ahead, but she is doing well. She is scheduled for another procedure on Monday to repair the other side of her pelvis. We hope it will be her final surgery.

Her parents arrived from Italy on Tuesday and are now at the hospital with her.

Thank you all for the prayers, messages, and support you’ve shown Giorgia and everyone who cares about her. We appreciate it more than we can say💙💛

Our Mountaineer family is asking for some extra prayers this morning.

One of our own begins the first of several surgeries today as she starts a long road toward recovery following this weekend’s tragic car accident.

Please join us in praying for her surgeons and medical team, for successful procedures, for strength through the difficult days ahead, and ultimately for complete healing.

Our hearts also remain with the family, friends, teammates, and loved ones of the young man whose life was tragically lost, as well as the young woman who continues to fight. Please continue to lift up everyone affected by this unimaginable tragedy.

We love you, Gio. You’ve got an entire Mountaineer family standing behind you, praying for you, and ready to walk with you every step of the way.

We’re accepting donations of bottled water, Gatorade/Powerade, and electrolytes today. Any contributions are greatly appreciated! (Please leave donations underneath the backside of concession stand)
