Orange & Green Ball Match Play Event
If your child has been participating in Beginner I or Beginner II group lessons or private lessons for a while, this is a great opportunity to take the next step in their tennis journey and get introduced to match play in a fun, friendly environment. This event is designed to help young players gain match experience while learning scoring, sportsmanship, and match etiquette. Every player will be guaranteed at least two matches, and each court will have a court monitor available to assist with scoring and answer questions throughout the match.

Kick off the school year with a fun-filled afternoon of tennis at Riverside Tennis Center. The Back-to-School Tennis Carnival is a free, family-friendly event designed for kids ages 4–12 to explore the game of tennis through exciting activities and games.
This come-and-go event allows families to arrive anytime between 4:00–5:00 PM and visit activity stations in any order. Kids will enjoy a variety of tennis-themed challenges including Target Smash, Walk the Dog, Obstacle Course, Card Shark, Balloon Tennis, Racquet Catch, Decorate a Racquet, Big Ball Mini Matches, and a Prize & Photo Station.
How It Works:
🎾 Check in beginning at 4:00 PM to receive your event ticket.
🎾 Visit stations and complete the activities.
🎾 Turn in your completed ticket at the front desk to receive a prize.
This exciting event is a great way for kids to stay active, try tennis, and celebrate the start of a new school year.

🎾 Junior Group Tennis Lessons at Riverside Tennis Center 🎾Sign up today for spring Junior Group Lessons and help your child get started in tennis—or take their game to the next level! We offer classes for a wide range of ages and skill levels in a fun, supportive environment.
Tots (Ages 4–7)
An introductory class focused on developing motor skills and hand-eye coordination while learning the basics of tennis. Kids use age-appropriate equipment like low-compression balls, smaller nets, and junior racquets. Basic rules and scoring are introduced in a fun, engaging way.
Beginner I (Ages 8–12)
Perfect for players with little to no experience. This class focuses on stroke fundamentals, proper technique, and learning the rules of the game, with fun competition-based activities throughout to build confidence and rally skills.
Beginner II (Ages 12–16)
Designed for older beginners, this fast-paced class builds foundational skills and introduces scoring and match play—great preparation for school tennis.
Intermediate (Ages 10–16)
Players work on stroke production, strategy, serving, and both singles and doubles play. A mix of low and standard compression balls helps players transition to full-court play. Instructor approval required.
Advanced (Ages 12–18)
For experienced, tournament-level players or school team athletes. Focus is on advanced technique, consistent rallying, and match strategy for singles and doubles. Full compression balls are used. Instructor approval required.
