BIG NEWS: March Madness is coming back to Wichita ππ₯
The NCAA has selected INTRUST Bank Arena as an Opening Round host site for the 2027 and 2028 Division I Men's Basketball Championship! We are joining Dayton, Ohio as the only two cities in the country to host the tournament's opening games. With the bracket expanding to 76 teams, both cities will host tripleheaders on the Tuesday and Wednesday right after Selection Sunday.
Wichita's March Madness roots run deep β from Levitt Arena hosting tournament games back in 1956, to INTRUST Bank Arena's first/second round games in 2018 and 2025. Now the Air Capital gets to kick off the whole tournament, and we couldn't be more excited!
Opening Round action tips off March 16-17, 2027. π
