Somewhere between the first practice and the last out, these girls became my girls!

I hope they know that I will never measure this season by 18-2-2. I’ll measure it by the laughter in the dugout, the prayers, the devotionals, the hugs, the hard conversations, the growth, and the way they learned to believe in themselves and each other. I’m so incredibly proud of them!

I truly believe God placed every single one of us here, at the same time, for a reason. 18-2-2 will go in the record book, but these girls will stay written on my heart forever.

Thank you to all the parents and grandparents for raising outstanding young ladies. It has been an absolute privilege to be these girls coach. I love each of them more than they will ever know.

What an amazing season with an even more amazing group of girls. 20-3-1, but this season was about so much more than a record.

It is truly one of the greatest blessings the Lord has given me to be their coach. I’m so incredibly proud of the way these girls competed, loved one another, grew together, and represented Lakeway. We laughed, we prayed, we celebrated, we learned through the hard moments, and we made memories that I will carry with me forever.

Today, they left 100% of what they had on that field, and as their coach, that is all I could ever ask of them. There were tears at the end because this team means so much more to me than softball. I hope they always know how deeply I love them, how proud I am of them, and how grateful I am that God allowed me to be a small part of their story.

The wins are special, but watching these girls grow into strong, confident, Christ-centered young women is the real victory. I would choose this group over and over again. 🤍

20-3-1. What a season. What a team. What a blessing.
