Not every race day goes the way you draw it up… but the way you respond is what defines you.

The day started with waking up to a big nail in the tire and a flat. Thankfully, we got that fixed and were ready to race.

Heat 1 was definitely eventful. The car kept dying multiple times, but we battled through it and came away with a 3rd-place finish.

Between races, all of the dads jumped in to help. They changed out the circuit breaker and worked hard to get me back on the track for Moto 2. I was running strong in 2nd place and then unfortunately, the car lost all power. That meant a tow off the track and a DNF for Round 2 due to electrical issues.

That’s racing sometimes. You have the highs and the lows, but you never quit.

With racing—and life—you can never give up. No matter how frustrating things get, you keep pushing forward. Every setback is an opportunity to learn, grow, and come back stronger.

A huge thank you to my dad and all of the amazing dads in the racing community who jumped in to help us. This racing family is second to none, and I’m so thankful for everyone who stopped what they were doing to help get me back on the track. We think we’ve found the problem, and we’ll be ready to battle again tomorrow! 💪🏁

Qualifying last night went well despite the lap times quit working. 🏁

This track is definitely one of the toughest I’ve raced. It’s full of tight turns, big hills, and jumps that keep you on your toes, but the car did exactly what it needed to do.

This morning started with a little surprise…a huge nail in one of my tires! 😳 We woke up to a flat, but thankfully my crew got it fixed up and we’re ready to roll.

Drivers meeting is done, weather is a breezy 66 degrees with sprinkles, cars are ready and it’s almost go time! Now it’s time for Day 1 of racing! Let’s see what we’ve got!

Happy Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported Waylon this season. From our family and friends to our race family, sponsors, crew, fellow competitors, photographers, and everyone cheering from the sidelines or following along online—thank you. Your encouragement means more than you’ll ever know.

Today is about more than fireworks and celebrations. It’s about honoring the freedoms we enjoy every day because of the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. Freedom gives us the opportunity to chase our dreams, spend time with those we love, and create memories like these at the racetrack. We never take that for granted.

We hope everyone has a safe and memorable Independence Day. Enjoy the time with your family and friends, make lasting memories, and if you’re celebrating with fireworks, please be careful!

🏁 Lucas Oil Motorsports Park – Round 5 & 6 Weekend! 🏁

Mother Nature definitely threw us a curveball to kick off the weekend! The track was too wet for practice and qualifying, but that didn’t stop the fun. Dad took all the boys out to help pack the track, sling some mud, and do a little sliding around while we waited for racing to begin!

When the racing finally got underway Saturday morning, our team was ready. We battled through qualifying and Round 5, and we’re proud to bring home a 3rd Place finish!

A huge congratulations to all of the drivers who put on an awesome show, especially my buddy who grabbed the 1st Place finish! It’s always even more special getting to stand on the podium next to one of my friends and team members . Congratulations—you earned it!

The car is absolutely on fire right now, and we couldn’t do it without our incredible pit crew. Thank you to everyone who puts in the long hours behind the scenes to keep this car fast and race-ready. Your hard work is paying off!

Now it’s time to focus on Round 6 today! We’re ready to keep the momentum rolling and see what we can do. Thank you to everyone cheering us on—we’ll see you at the track! 🏁🔥

Let’s Go Racing ! Track was to wet yesterday afternoon to do practice and qualify so today is all race day!!

Race day is here.
Join us tomorrow at Lucas Oil Speedway for Round 2 of the Outlaw Series Central. Registration and tech open at 7:00 AM, followed by the drivers meeting at 8:00 AM. Qualifying and practice begin immediately after, with your fastest lap setting your Moto 1 starting position.
Schedule:
• 7:00 AM – Registration & Tech Open
• 8:00 AM – Drivers Meeting (at Registration)
• Immediately After – Qualifying & Practice (5 laps)
• 11:00 AM–2:00 PM – Moto 1
• 2:00–2:30 PM – Intermission
• 2:30 PM – Moto 2
• Podiums 30 minutes after the final race at the grandstands.
Whether you’re chasing points, your first podium, or just coming to enjoy the action, this is one you won’t want to miss.

What a weekend racing the Triple Crown - Where Central Series meets West Series meet Texas Series! 🏁. We came straight off the cruise ship and back to Texas for the races.

The cars were FAST all weekend and the competition was stacked. I battled hard every lap, fought for every position, and came home with a 4th place finish in a long line of tough cars and great drivers.

But racing weekends are about more than just what happens on the track. We spent the weekend surrounded by family, friends, good food, lots of laughs, and making memories that make this racing life so special.

This weekend also reminded us just how quickly things can change. One of our fellow team members experienced a truly terrifying situation on the track, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge the quick response from the driver and racing families who immediately surrounded him and his family with support. We are beyond thankful that he is okay and so proud of him for getting back into a car.

Moments like this definitely make my parents and me take a step back and go over everything again and again. Racing is something we all love deeply, but safety will always matter most.

Thank you to everyone who supports me week in and week out — my family, crew, sponsors, and all the fans cheering me on. We’ll regroup, keep learning, and get ready for the next one! 💪🔥

The camps are set up, the cars are ready, the dads are working hard on the cars and the moms have a great menu prepared for the weekend. This can only mean one thing… it’s race weekend! 🏁🔥 It’s the Triple Crown Weekend!

Bring on the rounds, bring on the fun, and bring on the adrenaline! After a great day of qualifying, I’m sitting in 1st going into today!

Now it’s time to stay focused, have fun, and see what this weekend can bring. Let’s go racing!
