When families apply to the My Voice program, we hear all kinds of hopes and dreams about how this device will impact their lives. Huntleigh's family shared hopes about it lessoning her frustration, easier ability to share her thoughts, and as an educational tool.

"A communication device would help Huntleigh out so much! The daily tasks would have less frustration if she were able to tell us what she wants. As her mom I know her enough to know most of the time what she wants already, but many of our family does not. Also for the times I can’t figure out what she wants, this would help eliminate the
guessing. It would also help her recognize words and help us test her knowledge in school, as well as a learning tool."

🍂 Different ways to wait 🍎 Same fall fun 🍂

We are so excited to partner with Shenot Farm to introduce Michael’s Harvest Accessibility Ride Pass—created to help make one of our favorite fall traditions more accessible and enjoyable for guests with disabilities and their families. 💜💚

For some guests, the hardest part of a hayride isn’t the ride—it’s navigating the crowds and waiting in a traditional line. This program offers another way.

🎃 $20 for the season
🚜 Unlimited hayrides throughout the season
💜 Designed for guests with disabilities who may have difficulty waiting in a traditional ride line
🍂 Pass holder and accompanying guests may use the designated accessibility/fast-track entrance
⏱️ Reduced wait times for eligible rides
🔁 Ride as often as you’d like!
🎒 Sensory supports provided by The Michael Mackie Project

Passes are subject to ride availability, operating hours, and applicable ride safety requirements.

Upon arrival, please see a Shenot’s event staff member for accessibility assistance, pass instructions, and to receive your physical pass.

This program is especially meaningful to us because sometimes inclusion doesn’t require changing the experience—it simply means creating another way to access it.

Here’s to hayrides, pumpkins, family memories, and a fall season where every child belongs. 💜🍎🚜

Hooray for 10,000!! 🎉 We celebrated our 10,000th piece of adaptive equipment presented on Tuesday at the National Aviary. An amazing location, speakers, and a bike parade for the history books led by a few resident penguins!
