Fairfield County Hunt Club - Stables One Hundred Years of Horsemanship in Fairfield County Our riders compete at the local, regional and national levels.

The riding program at The Fairfield County Hunt Club (FCHC) has a rich history of developing successful riders in the hunter, jumper and equitation disciplines. The program and all of our facilities offer a wide array of services at all levels of participation for the English style horseman. Our program offers competitively priced memberships for riders of all levels from beginners to high-level competitive jumpers and hunters. The program is dedicated to providing a comprehensive nurturing environment for horse and rider to develop the skills necessary to perform to the best of their ability.

What a week for Brenda Tananbaum 🤩

Brenda set the USHJA 3’3” Adult Jumping Seat Medal Finals in Traverse City as a major goal this year, and she delivered!

She and Novello won the Flat Phase 🥇 were top 🔟 in the Gymnastic phase and top 5️⃣ in the Jumping phase to finish fourth overall 🤍

Horsemanship is key! 🔑

We were proud to see Annabelle Sheiber recognized as she won the CHJA Horsemanship Test (12 & Under) at Fairfield August 🏆 She shared her win with her barn mates Maggie McGarvey and Arabella Segal, who also went home with big wins!

Maggie rode Indigo Girl to top honors in the CHJA Pony Medal Final 🥇

In the CHJA Pony Hunter Classic, it was Arabella's moment. She took the win with Butterfly Kiss 🦋
