We are bursting with pride for our YMCA Karate Academy WSKF family. Every single athlete showed up with heart, discipline, and fighting spirit from the first match to the last. Win or lose, our team gave it their all, and that is what makes us proud.

A very special shoutout to our daughter Carmen, who wore two hats this tournament — coach and athlete! She guided her teammates with focus and then stepped on the mat herself, bringing home 🥇 one gold medal and 🥉🥉 two bronze medals. Carmen, you make us proud every single day!

To every athlete, every parent, every coach who trains and believes in this academy: this medal count is yours too. Keep pushing, keep growing, and keep shining. This is only the beginning! 💪

FIVE FINAL ATHLETES COMPLETE THE TEAM! 🇺🇸🥋

Following yesterday’s evaluation on August 12, Pedro César, Juan Carlos González, Thiago Carson, David Paz, and Natalia Paz officially earned their places on the WSKF USA Team for Panama 2026.

With this final selection, our Panama 2026 team is now complete.

Congratulations on this outstanding achievement! Your dedication, discipline, perseverance, and spirit have earned you the honor of representing YMCA Karate Academy, WSKF USA, and the United States of America at the WSKF America Continental Championship & Kasuya Cup 2026 in Panama City, Panama.
