Gregor Gracie’s seminar this past Saturday went beyond our expectations! 🥋🔥

“Basic techniques,” as Gregor himself called them, but with a level of detail that makes all the difference. Those small adjustments that can completely change a position and definitely help take our students’ Jiu Jitsu to another level.

That’s what these seminars are all about. Learning, improving, and having the opportunity to learn from someone with so much knowledge and experience.

Gregor, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, for the attention you gave to our students, and especially for the way you treated everyone.

You’re different, my brother! We appreciate you and can’t wait to have you back.

One of the things I love most about Jiu Jitsu is that anyone can start, at any age. You don’t need to be in shape. You don’t need experience. You don’t need to “get ready” before you start.

We modify the training based on your age, experience, fitness level and what your body can handle.

That’s our job.

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of people who help build our communities every day.

On the mats, we’re reminded that progress works the same way. It comes from showing up, putting in the work, supporting the people around you, and getting a little better each day.

This kid started Jiu Jitsu at only 3 and a half years old and now at 10 years old, little by little, he’s starting to jump into the adults class and really enjoy it.

Crazy for me to watch him grow up on these mats. From that little 3 year old kid running around the academy to now training with the adults. Proud dad/professor moment for sure! ❤️🥋

There’s no perfect age to start Jiu Jitsu.

Some people discover it as kids. Others step on the mats for the first time in their 30s, 40s, 50s, or beyond.

What matters is starting.

With every class, you learn more than technique. You challenge yourself, build confidence, stay active, and become part of a community that wants to see you grow.

No matter your age or experience level, there’s a place for you on our mats .🥋
