No matter what team you play for everyone has a soft spot for a fellow baseball player fighting a tough personal battle. Dominick has trained at Midwest Sports Training for a couple years and is in need of prayers and support! If you are able please donate, say many prayers and please share. Dominick has a long road and any support is appreciated.

I’m asking that all of you please take the time to read this entire post.

The DuPage Revolution is more than just baseball and softball. Games are played on the field, but it’s also where we learn the values that define who we are. Effort, integrity, and respect. Those aren’t just words, they are the foundation of our organization.

Wins, trophies and championships are nice, but they will never be our greatest achievement. It’s building a community that cares for each other on and off the field. We aren’t 14 separate teams, we are one family and we are all teammates.

So when one of our Revolution families is facing a difficult time, we must come together, lift each other up, and remind one another that no one has to face life’s toughest moments alone.

A few weeks ago Dominic McGady from our 14u baseball team was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing Sarcoma, a rare cancer that attacks the bones and soft tissue around it.

Dominic embodies everything we look for in a player, and more importantly a person. His character and his love for baseball always shine through. He is always wearing Rev gear and takes great pride in representing his team and the organization. He is always cheering his team on and encouraging them to fight until the end.

Now Dominic has a hard fight in front of him. But he has our entire organization fighting along with him. We know that with our love and support he will win this fight!!

I’m asking all of you to please donate or help in any you can. I have attached links for his Caring Bridge page as well as his gofundme page.

Please keep Dominic and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
