What to do?
Build and nurture relationships. Confide in others. Ask for help. See a therapist. Petting an animal is always good as well!

Self-regulation. Prayer. Meditation. Grounding. These are all forms of self regulation. Ask God, your higher self, the universe, nature, for help. AND exercise!!!!! Learn to move! Learn to listen to your body when it cries out. Don't drown it out. Don't run away from it. YOUR BODY IS YOU, YOU ARE YOUR BODY!!!

Took me 25 years of lifting and an addict ex-girlfriend napalming my life like a North Vietnamese village to realize that muscle did not provide the armor I thought it would. It did not protect me or solve problems like it does in 80's action movies.

Being in shape is great! Everyone should do it. You can get out of pain and that's good because pain forces us to make poor decisions. You can look good in clothes. You can look good naked! And you may not live a day longer but you will live better with exercise.

But it will not solve your stuff. It relieves no angst. Does not stop the dread or difficulty of Being. You won't be a better parent, partner, worker, friend or human because you are in shape. If you ever think, "If I could just look the way I want. If I could just be in the shape I want, everything would be good," it won't.

Workout. Get in shape. You'll feel better but don't look for solutions for issues where there are none.

There are LOTS of ways to deal with sickness but the easiest and cheapest is consistent exercise. Consume fewer calories than you burn and then you'll really be cruising. 😎
