Where to even begin... a weekend for the ages. We kicked off our inaugural Honor O'Connor Softball Tournament in honor of Pennsylvania State Trooper Timothy O'Connor Jr. (E.O.W 3.8.2026) who was an avid softball player.

The festivities began with a homerun derby on friday night with 48 participants! On Saturday morning, opening cemonies began at 8:45am with a bagpipe tribute and the national anthem. The first pitch was thrown out by Tim's nephew and then it was time to PLAY BALL! 19 total teams, consisting of many first responder teams and prior teams Tim used to play for, battled it out on the field! The comraderie, conversations and skills were epic, both on and off the field. All proceeds of the tournament, including 17 raffle baskets donated by family, local businesses and friends, benefitted Camp Cadet, a special cause close to Tim's heart.

Many, many thanks to the O'Connor Family for their incredible support in allowing us to bring this amazing event to life. We were honored to host and can't wait to make it an annual occurence! The gratitude to everyone who helped organize and get this tournament up and running cannot be expressed enough. So many memories made; so many photos taken, and it was truly a successful (and FUN!) three days together. Again, THANK YOU for everyone that came out and showed up to HONOR O'Connor and keep the spirit of Tim thriving among us.

Below is a link to all the photos taken during the weekend! Feel free to add photos to the drive or post them in the comments!
