Hi I’m Melissa! I love helping teams prepare for competitions and performances. I love seeing the creative vision of the choreography and bringing pieces to life by improving presentation and clarity.
Because I have spent over 10 years on the judges stands (and well over 50,000 hours👀) I am an expert at maximizing your scoresheet and ensuring each caption is being used to its fullest potential.

I also try to be a good steward of my time and money so I always appreciate the struggle for some programs to stay within the confines of budgets.
If you’d love to have me come out but are wondering how to make it happen here are a few tips from programs that have made it happen:

🩰Split costs with another local studio or school program, I will do double duty to save on travel costs!
🩰Offer solo cleanings as well as teams!
🩰Go virtual!
🩰Coordinate with my judging/consulting calendar and pick a date when I am already in your city!
🩰Get a discount if you refer another program and they sign up!

I’d love to help get you ready for your competition season, shoot me a DM or email me at [email protected]

First of all…I love the shakes, it makes me feel like…something is happening 😂

Second of all…it doesn’t ALWAYS indicate a weakness! But it can. So if you are returning from an injury this becomes important because you may need to explore the following things:

⭐️Strength/Endurance Limitations- your muscles maybe working near its current capacity and may not be able to maintain steady force
⭐️Motor Control- Your nervous system might be having trouble coordinating the movement
⭐️Fatigue3- a muscle that was initially stable may start shaking as it becomes fatigued
⭐️Stabilization Demands- Smaller stabilizing muscles may shake when they are controlling a joint in a position they haven’t seen in a while

Pushing through the shakes isn’t always a good thing, especially for those recovering, so make sure post injury that you are being monitored by a professional!
