We had a weekend of racing at our home track!

These four are my world! Jesse and I are so proud to call them ours! Bernie and Gus are truly part of our racing weekends now and I wouldn’t change a thing! 5:30am waking up calls for walks around the track are the best! Then throwing the frisbees for Burn Burn at 7:30am while chasing Gus!

Both kids are still working on getting comfortable in Junior Honda and Animal! Harrison has a large Field in Honda and did avoid wreck this weekend! That’s a win for us! He is learning when to pass and how to pass correctly. He watched the races back with Jesse and talks through each race!

Morgan feels nervous and knows her surroundings which we love but we are working on her becoming a stronger driver! As Ms Emily says…”he’ll get it “ she will too! ♥️♥️♥️

Sunday Recap!

Morgan dodged a car who spun out in the heat race by making a quick decision to hit the brakes and go low! That’s a win for us! She finished 4th to start p4 in the feature! She got into it with two other cars on the start of the race causing some damage to her…she finished 4th but she held her head high!

Harrison I don’t even know what to say! His heat race he started p4 and finished 5th. He ran a good line but couldn’t make the pass.
THEN…B Main he flew from p3 to 1st. He nailed his start and never looked back!
FEATURE Race he started p7 and finished 5th. He wiggle past several wrecks to hold his own! Very happy with his driving.

Happy Monday Morning following a long race weekend!

Friday Fury was cancelled due to lovely air quality!

Saturday was Christmas in July! 🎄🎅 I am finally happy to say I got a picture of both my kids with SANTA! It only took 7 years! I got my one and I am a happy momma!

Morgan was excited because her birthday was in a few days! She raced and was all smiles all weekend.
Heat p1➡️3rd
Featured p3➡️ 4th
Dads turn to fix a bent radius rod, loose chain and bend back the teal body panels! But happy she got two clean, completed passes!

Harrison got to carry the American Flag 🇺🇸 before the feature Races! 🇺🇸🎗️

Harrison was just happy to be at the track!
Heat p6 ➡️ 5th
Honestly for the feature/ B main I am not sure where he finished. He was the X car in the feature and got to race. He came out in one piece and he was happy! Win in my book! He had several clean, completed passes as well!

Saturday July 11. Quad City Heat race! Sometimes wrecked happens and you don’t see the car spin because your looking at the other cars because of the cation flag! There is only seconds to react and sometimes it doesn’t go your way! It comes with experience! Lots of seat time! Happens to him today! Everyone was okay and the boys chatted after!
