Whether your dancer wants to pursue a career within the performing arts or simply wants to try something new, our program is tailored to your dancers needs. Our highly trained and college awarded instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing in various styles and disciplines across the globe. We believe that the skills learned at Roc Academy of Dance are valuable in all walks of life. We pride ourselves in helping to develop confident, polished and professional individuals. We are proud to have our students participate in reputable collegiate summer programs locally and in NYC.

There’s something extra special about finding a class that becomes part of your family’s rhythm. Especially when it means sweet morning memories, little ballet shoes, and a child who cannot wait to see their teacher. 🩰💗

We’re so grateful to Erica for sharing her experience with us. The best part of dance isn’t only the steps they learn. It’s the time spent together, the confidence that quietly grows, and the joy of watching your little one light up when they find something they love.

Big imagination. Little dance shoes. Zero year-long commitment. ✨🩰

If your 4–5-year-old is constantly putting on a show in the living room, turning every song into a dance break, or asking to wear their “fancy” outfit just because… Little Steps may be their perfect next move. 💗

This six-week class is a fun, low-pressure introduction to dance. Made for little ones who are ready to explore movement, music, listening skills, confidence, and the joy of being part of a class.

✨ Ages 4–5
✨ Tuesdays, 4:15–5:00 PM
✨ September 29–November 3
✨ Six weeks, not a full season
✨ No recital
✨ No costume
✨ No contract

Just one sweet little commitment with plenty of room for big smiles, new skills, and proud “Did you see me?!” moments.

Perfect for families who have been curious about Roc Dance but aren’t ready to jump into a full dance year and for current Roc families with a little sibling ready for their own spotlight.

We release Little Steps sessions one semester at a time. Once this fall session fills, the next opportunity will be in winter. So if your little one is ready to give dance a try, now is the time to take that first step. 🌟
