The baseball and softball board will be meeting this Sunday at 3:00. There will be a few board member elections taking place per our league bylaws. This year the President, Secretary, and three of our general board members terms will be up. Some of these members were just elected the previous year, but in an attempt to return to a common election cycle we will be following the process defined in our local league bylaws. If you would like to get involved and join our board you will need to be present and nominated at this meeting. Once elections are finished there will be a few topics/changes that will be discussed. The public is welcome to attend this meeting; however, only board members will be able to vote on the topics discussed.

I had the privilege of presenting these players with their State Resolution recognizing them for all their hard work. I know I speak for our entire board, past and present, when I say that we’re beyond proud of all you’ve accomplished.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Senator Page Walley for being so quick about getting these and for always being so supportive of our youth! These resolutions wouldn’t have been possible without him!

🏆 Waynesboro Diamond Youth Fall Ball Update ⚾🥎

We want to thank everyone who signed up and continues to support youth baseball and softball in Wayne County!

We’re excited to announce that we have enough players to form teams for:

* ⚾ Baseball: 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U
* 🥎 Softball: 6U and 8U

Unfortunately, we did not receive enough registrations to form 10U and 12U softball teams this fall. If you paid for your child to play in these age groups, please message the page about getting a refund!

Still interested in playing? If you missed registration but would still like to sign up, please send our page a message as soon as possible. While we can’t guarantee placement, we’ll do our best to see if we can accommodate any late registrations.

If you’re interested in coaching this season, our Coaches Meeting and Player Draft will be held on Thursday, August 20, at 6:00 PM. We encourage anyone who would like to volunteer as a coach to attend!

Thank you again for your continued support of baseball and softball in Wayne County. We couldn’t do it without our players, parents, coaches, and volunteers. We’re looking forward to a great fall season! 💙⚾🥎

Undefeated WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!

These boys have played their hearts out and have been crowned the 6U DYB World Series Champs because of it!

They’re the first baseball team from our league to WIN IT ALL!

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and fans! You guys have achieved what many only dream of. I know I speak for all of us when I say we have loved watching you guys ball out and see all your hard work pay off!

Special shoutout to Heather Warren for keeping us all updated and taking pictures of the unforgettable memories that these boys and their families will cherish for a lifetime!

Last call for Fall Ball!

**UPDATE**

**we’ve noticed a few kids that were put in the wrong age group. We’ve changed these based on what age they should be in for the spring. The numbers below have been updated. If you’re seeing this post after three o’clock it is correct. If you saw this post prior to 3, then recheck the numbers!

6U baseball and softball and 8U softball are currently good and will have 2 teams each, but the more the merrier!

We still need more for all other age groups. 3 more for 8U baseball, 1 more for 10u and 12u baseball. A lot more for 10u and 12u softball!

Today is the LAST DAY to sign up. We will not be extending the registration deadline. If your child would like to participate sign them up today using the Google form. Don’t forget you’ll have to complete the form for each child. I’ll post the link in the comments!

Fall Ball update! As of right now we still need about 5 more for 8U baseball and Softball, 10 more for 10U and 12U Softball, and about 4 more for 10u and 12u baseball!

⚾🥎 FALL BALL REGISTRATION ENDS FRIDAY! 🥎⚾

This Friday is the LAST DAY to sign up for Waynesboro Diamond Youth Fall Ball!

Right now, we’re still short on player numbers in several age groups, and without enough registrations, we may not be able to offer a fall season for those divisions.

If you’ve been thinking about signing your child up, please don’t wait! Fall Ball is a great opportunity for players to continue developing their skills, gain more game experience, and have fun with their teammates before the spring season. Check the pinned comment below for the link, or go to our page and look for the initial registration link!
