🚨 Your knees don’t have to be LOCKED for a stiff-legged RDL!
One of the biggest mistakes I see? Trying to keep the legs completely straight and turning the movement into a lower-back exercise.
👉 Notice how I keep a slight bend in my knees while driving my hips BACK.
That hip hinge is the key! 🍑
A stiff-legged RDL is a great exercise for targeting your hamstrings and glutes, improving your hip-hinge pattern, building posterior-chain strength, and developing better control through the movement.
💡 Think:
➡️ Soft knees
➡️ Hips go BACK
➡️ Keep the weight close to your body
➡️ Maintain a strong, neutral spine
➡️ Feel the stretch in your hamstrings
➡️ Drive your hips forward to stand
Your goal isn't to touch the floor-it’s to create tension in the hamstrings while maintaining control.
Stop worrying about how LOW you go and start focusing on where your hips are going! 👏
Save this for your next hamstring day! 🔥
