Koda Ranch had such an amazing time bringing our petting zoo to the Meadowood Festival today! 🎉

There’s nothing better than seeing all the smiles, laughs, little hands loving on the animals, and kids making new furry friends. 🥹🐐🐴 Our animals soaked up ALL the attention — and probably a few extra treats too! 😂

A HUGE thank you to the Meadowood Neighborhood Association, Hero’s Pizzeria, Meadowood Church, and everyone who helped put together such a fun community event. Thank you for inviting Koda Ranch to be part of it! ❤️

And thank you to every family who stopped by to visit us, pet the animals, take a pony ride, say hello, and support our little family-owned ranch. Days like today are exactly why we love what we do. 🩵

🎉🐴 KODA RANCH IS HEADED TO THE MEADOWOOD FESTIVAL! 🐐🎡💕

We’re so excited to be bringing some of our Koda Ranch petting zoo family to the 5th Annual Meadowood Festival ’26!

📅 Saturday, September 12th
⏰ 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Meadowood Park – Aurora

This is going to be an AMAZING family day packed with food, music, games, and plenty of fun! 🎶🍕🎈

Come enjoy carnival games, Hero’s Pizzeria, food trucks, ice cream, a DJ, climbing wall, bounce houses, raffles, face painting, balloon animals and SO much more!

And of course… COME SEE US! 🐴🐐🐑🦙💗
Koda Ranch will be there with the PETTING ZOO, including goats, pony walks, alpacas and more of our lovable ranch crew!

We absolutely LOVE getting our animals out into the community and watching kids and families make memories with them. Whether you already know our crazy Koda crew or you’ve never met us before, come say hi, love on some animals, snap some pictures, and have some fun with us!

Today we celebrate the hardworking hands, big hearts, and determination that keep our communities moving forward. Whether you spend your days behind a desk, on the road, raising a family, building a business, or covered in hay, mud, and animal hair like we usually are — today is for YOU! ❤️🤍💙

Here at Koda Ranch, hard work is just part of ranch life. There are no real days off when you have hungry mouths, muddy hooves, and critters who definitely did NOT check the holiday calendar. 😂🐴🐐🐑

Our ranch offers rustic, natural backdrops with plenty of personality—and you can make your session even more memorable by adding one of our animals! 🐴🐐🐮🐷🐰🐑🫏

🐑💥 ONLY AT KODA RANCH… 💥🐑

Well folks… add “got absolutely taken OUT by a sheep” to the list of things I never thought I’d be saying. 😂🤦‍♀️

We were trying to separate the sheep and alpaca when apparently one of the sheep chose VIOLENCE. 😂 She came at me full force, straight into my knee, and took me completely off my feet.

And when I say she took me out…

SHE. TOOK. ME. OUT. 💀🐑

One ER trip later and apparently the sheep did a pretty decent job. I have an MCL sprain and an injury to my patellar tendon, so my knee is currently VERY unhappy with me.

And apparently my knee wasn’t the only casualty. 🤦‍♀️ I am bruised EVERYWHERE. Both feet are bruised, my body looks like I got thrown into a WWE match with a farm animal… and I’m STILL finding new bruises. 😂 Every time I look down I’m like, “Well, where the heck did THAT one come from?!” 🫠

I’m now rocking a very fashionable knee stabilizer, have extremely limited mobility, and will be calling Monday to get in with an orthopedic surgeon to find out exactly what kind of trouble Miss Sheep managed to cause.

Because apparently THREE storms tearing up the ranch wasn’t enough excitement for one summer…

2026 said:
🌪️ Storm.
🌪️ Another storm.
🌪️ ANOTHER storm.
🔨 Rebuild.
🐑 RELEASE THE SHEEP.

At this point, I’m afraid to ask what’s next. 😂

So if you see me hobbling around Koda Ranch covered in bruises… mind your business. 🤣🤣

I have officially lost a fight to livestock.
