As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Additionally, our dance classes in Waterville Just For Kix are very economical. Currently, we offer dance classes in over 200 locations in a 10-state area. Just For Kix classes engage pre-school through adults and offer current, relevant dance curriculum. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom

As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship. Meet Your Staff Monday! Next Up - CoachBrandis! Brandis is beginning her 3rd year with Waterville Area JFK, however, she is not new to our dance family. As a mom with 4 dancers she's been helping out for 10+ years. Brandis will be teaching Mondays and Tuesday Technique as well as helping in the Solo, Duet, & Small Group program within our Studio. Meet Your Staff Monday! Next Up our Program Director - Coach Karen! Karen is beginning her 12th season with Waterville Area JFK. She grew up dancing with Nicollet Community Ed., Dance Express and is a graduate of Nicollet JFK. She went on to dance with the Augsburg College dance team. Coach Karen is your go to person as she's the one who runs the studio and all aspects of it!

To say the last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind would be an understatement. 💜

This past week, our very own Coach Lydia was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. While those words are scary, we are holding tightly to what her doctors have told her: this IS treatable AND curable.

Lydia begins chemotherapy next week and will continue treatments through the end of October. Her start to the coaching season may look a little sporadic—right now, her health gets to take center stage until she beats this! 💪

Please join me in surrounding Lydia with all the WAJFK love, prayers, encouragement, and support we can give her. She’s going to need her dance family, and we’ll be right beside her through it all. Because this has always been so much more than dance.

We love you, Coach Lydia. You’ve got an entire dance family in your corner. Now go kick cancer’s butt! 💪💜
