The 2026 Zombie Shoot was an absolute success, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible people who showed up ready to SLAY SOME ZOMBIES! 🧟‍♂️💥

A HUGE THANK YOU to every attendee who came out and made today so much fun — and an even BIGGER thank you to the army of volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make 19 stages, countless targets, props, food, logistics, safety, and everything in between come together. 👏🇺🇸

You all brought the energy, the competition, the laughs, and the zombie-slaying spirit that makes this event so special.

The gates will open at 8 am, the zombies are waiting, and 19 stages of absolute mayhem are ready to go! 🔥🔫💀

A few reminders as we kick off the biggest event of the year:

🦺 SAFETY FIRST! Listen to our Stage Bosses, Range Officers, and volunteers. Follow the rules, watch your muzzle, and help us make this an incredible AND safe day for everyone.

😎 HAVE FUN! This event is all about getting out, trying something new, and enjoying a day of shooting with friends.

🧟‍♂️💪 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS! 💪🧟‍♀️

Today, 50+ incredible volunteers came out to Aurora Sportsmen’s Club and put in some serious work getting all 19 stages ready for tomorrow’s Zombie Shoot! 🔥

These folks spent hours setting up stages, moving equipment, building props, and getting everything ready for hundreds of Zombie Slayers who will be coming through the gates tomorrow.

But they didn’t stop there…

🔧 Along the way, they also repaired and refurbished a ton of shooting props that we use throughout our monthly Action Shooting matches. That work will benefit our entire shooting community long after the zombies are gone.

Events like this simply do not happen without volunteers. The time, sweat, muscle, creativity, and willingness to jump in wherever needed is what makes the Zombie Shoot — and our ASC Action Shooting Sports — possible.

To everyone who came out today: THANK YOU! 🙌

We appreciate every single one of you more than you know. You helped turn an empty range into 19 stages of post-apocalyptic mayhem, and tomorrow our Zombie Slayers get to enjoy the fruits of your hard work. 🧟‍♂️🔫💥

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001 — a day that changed our country forever.

At these moments in time, the unthinkable unfolds:

✈️ 7:46:40 AM CT — Flight 11 strikes the North Tower
✈️ 8:03 AM CT — Flight 175 strikes the South Tower
💥 8:37 AM CT — Flight 77 strikes the Pentagon
✈️ 9:03 AM CT — Flight 93 crashes in Pennsylvania

But September 11th isn’t only a story about what is taken from us.

It is a story about who runs toward the danger while everyone else is trying to get away. 🇺🇸

Firefighters. Police officers. Paramedics. Emergency workers. Military personnel. And ordinary Americans who find extraordinary courage when their country needs them most.

Today, we honor those who serve, those who sacrifice, and those who continue to stand ready to protect our communities and our country every single day.

🇺🇸 To our First Responders — THANK YOU.
🇺🇸 To our Military — THANK YOU.
🇺🇸 To the families who carry the weight of those sacrifices — THANK YOU.

And today, take a moment to appreciate something that can be easy to take for granted:
