🏁🔥 CRANDON RECAP — THE BIG HOUSE! 🔥🏁

What a freaking weekend!
Friday was chaos trying to get the #4 YXZ set up right, after lap 1 the throttle stuck WIDE OPEN for 3 laps, we lost 4WD, and battled through a muddy, slick track. 😳

Saturday was a whole different story. On a hard-packed track, after a few hiccups, I found myself battling my pit buddy Duncan for 2 laps before making the pass over the Barn Jump in front of 50,000 Crandon fans! 🤘🔥

Never driving this car until this week, never being on a dirt track and somehow holding my own at The Big House, I couldn't be more proud of everything this weekend.

Meeting so many awesome people and having so many people believe in me made this experience even more special. Thank you Mitchell Otterson for the rocketship and amazing crew you have. I cant thank you enough!

With the main goal of having fun and coming home in one piece we succeeded that and then some! Cant wait to see what comes next!

First day at update!!!!

100/10 from the driver's meeting at 7, to the run around with tech and making adjustments just to race to actually getting 3 laps out on the track!!!!

Wow what an abundance of nerves and emotions going through everything today. As most of you know im generally fairly calm through higher stress situations and today was a test to that. Keeping calm and knowing that everything will work out just fine even though I am so new to all of this.

The track was incredible. It is a much different perspective being on the track vs watching from the hill.

So much learning today from driving a new car to me and just the dirt world in general is crazy, compared to the ice!

Parade tomorrow morning and I race at 540 tomorrow evening.

Thank you so much for this opportunity Mitch and your crew Colby and Nick are great! And met some great people today!

Earlier this season, we said we’d see what opportunities came our way during the off-season.

I’m beyond excited to announce that Mitchell Otterson has given me the opportunity to drive his #4 Ice car in PRO AM at CRANDON!

This is the biggest stage in short course off road racing and an opportunity I never imagined I’d get; something ive always talked about. A HUGE thank you to Mitch for trusting me with his car and giving me this shot. I’m going to make damn sure I earn it. 💪

And honestly… this one means more than just racing. There have been people who believed in me, supported me, pushed me, and kept telling me to chase this dream even when I wasn’t sure where it could go. ❤️

Got done with work a little late tonight but was still able to get some sunshine riding in this evening. Man did it feel good to feel the wind in your face and 8k rpms singing with 80 degrees. In the 15 mile round trip it really made me miss trail riding upnorth. Had a great meal at Anchor and ale to wrap up a very productive work week. God bless Saturdays and have a great rest of your weekend!
