Meet Robin TenHoor, MINT Cycle instructor, architect, and DC creative.
Robin fell in love with cycling in college and spent five years as a rider before an instructor encouraged her to take the podium herself. She's been teaching at MINT since 2025, bringing an athlete's drive, a designer's precision, and an unpredictable playlist — 70s disco, house, pop, and a soft spot for Tate McRae — to every class. Her classes are high-energy with humor woven in, and she takes song requests from riders to keep things collaborative.
Her advice for first-timers: come with an open mind. No prior cycling experience required.
Outside MINT, Robin works as a designer at a DC architecture firm specializing in school design, and spends weekends running Rock Creek Park or sketching at the National Gallery of Art.
Join Robin every Thursday at 6:30pm for Rhythm Ride — all fitness levels welcome. Our MATRIX bikes fit traditional sneakers or SPD cleats, with monitors tracking cadence, resistance, distance, and power.

Just 2 sessions left in Jacob Evans's Trifecta: Push. Pull. Legs SGT series — don't miss your chance to join this full-body strength training program.
Trifecta is built around three foundational movement patterns: push, pull, and legs. While one partner performs a strength exercise, the other engages in active rest, maximizing efficiency and keeping energy high throughout the session.
What makes this SGT unique is its simplicity and intentionality. Three movements. One complete workout. No wasted time and no complicated programming — just purposeful training that works major muscle groups every session.
Through this series, clients build functional strength, improve muscle tone and body composition, and develop foundational movement literacy across all three core patterns. The active rest component enhances muscular endurance and cardiovascular conditioning, while the partner format builds the accountability and consistency needed for long-term results.
📅 Wednesdays, 7pm
🗓️ Final sessions: 7/1 & 7/8
