The DC Eagles is an Australian Rules Football Club in the USAFL! Come play with us! We also hold a number of social events throughout the year.
The DC Eagles is an Australian Rules Football club representing the nation's capital in both male and female USAFL competitions. The season begins in April and concludes at the USAFL National Tournament in October. During the season we participate in divisional EAFL games (against teams from Baltimore, Boston, Columbus, New York, North Carolina and Philadelphia). The team trains three times a week

UPDATED SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY
The Virginia Lions Aussie Rules Footy Club are going to join the party when the phillyhawks and North Carolina Tigers come to town this weekend as the DC Eagles FC will host a round robin style day of fun down in the tidal basin! Join us Saturday starting at noon for the first of three (3) men's games plus a women's kickaround as we wrap up the last home game of the 2026 season!

Please join us Saturday for the men's team's last home game of the 2026 season as the DC Eagles FC host the phillyhawks and North Carolina Tigers! We'll be down on the tidal basin across from the MLK memorial, so bring a chair or blanket and come check out the best sport in the world! Ball up at 2pm, and you can catch us afterwards at our sponsor bar Royal Sands in Navy Yard.

Due to the road closures this weekend, we're taking a rare Saturday off of training. Make sure to join us next Tuesday, though, and there's another footy match right around the corner...
Quick snapshot from Saturday's kid's footy clinic, incredible turnout and such a great time! There we Australian kids with footy experience (and allegiances) and American kids who had never touched a Sherrin before, and they all came together and had a great time learning and playing. Hope to see some of those future DC Eagles again soon!

Coming off of this weekend's big win against Baltimore, we will be having a LIGHT training session tomorrow night in West Potomac Park (across from the MLK memorial). A light practice means it's the perfect chance for newbies to come have a kick and learn what is all about!
NOTE: there will NOT be training this Saturday the 22nd due to vroom vroom 🏎️

Quick round up of action shots from yesterday's DC Eagles FC home game against the Baltimore Dockers FC! It was such a beautiful (though hot!) day in DC and great to have a crowd of supporters as the home team prevailed 94-21.
