I am currently in Minneapolis for the Alpha Sigma Tau National Convention, where I am sponsoring the Wellness Lounge.
This space is designed as a place to pause in the middle of a full and high-energy experience. A place to breathe, reflect, and reconnect. Even in moments of celebration and connection, we still need space to come back to ourselves. We do not have to wait until we are overwhelmed to care for ourselves. We can build it into our day-to-day experience.

This weekend was a reminder of something simple and true: The body knows how to come back to center when we give it the space.
From supporting runners at the finish line to holding space in the Rooted and Grounded workshop, I witnessed what happens when people pause long enough to listen inward. There is a gentle shift that happens. The nervous system begins to settle. Something new has the chance to emerge. This is the work. Learning how to return home to yourself.

This weekend, I will be teaching in two spaces that reflect the heart of my work.
On Saturday, I will be at the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, offering yoga to runners as they cross the finish line at the Army Birthday 6.14K Road Race. It is a moment of transition, supporting the body as it moves from intensity into recovery.

On Sunday, I will be teaching a workshop at Sun and Moon, “Rooted and Grounded: Yoga for Emotional Balance.” This will be a space to slow down, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect. You can join in person or virtually.

As May comes to a close, take a moment to reflect:
– What have I learned about my mental health this month?
– What support do I want to continue?
– What feels more clear?
Mental health is not a destination. It is an ongoing relationship with yourself.
