Unfortunately, day one brought us some bad luck, with crashes and punctures at the wrong moments. The girls fought hard and gave it their all 💪🏼

Today, we take on Stage 2. Hopefully, luck will be on our side today! 🍀

Izzy Mayes 🗣️: After consistent results across the whole series I knew coming into the last round in Sheffield if I could do a good result I could get enough points to take the series win. Having already wrapped up the sprint competition win at round 5 in Dawlish I knew I didn’t have to worry about the intermediate sprints, and it was all in for the overall. It was a hard fast race trying to mark attacks and save some matches for the finish, I didn’t have my best sprint finish but it was good enough and I’m super happy to take both the jerseys after a busy block of racing!! 🤩💪🏻

Tomorrow, ʏᴜʟɪ ᴇʟɪsᴀʙᴇᴛʜ ʟᴇᴇ and Maaike Brandwagt will race in the European Derny Championships in Pordenone, Italy 🇮🇹🇪🇺💪🏻
