We love it when CJR alums come home for the summer! Camille, Elliot and Chester are back at the boathouse and sharpening their coaching skills with summer programs including learn to row and summer rowing, and giving coaches a bit of a break before heading into the fall season!

Also, reminder; as always Alumni Day will take place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28. More details to be posted here soon. Let’s see how many alums we can get back to the boathouse. We’d love to see you, even if you decide to not get into a boat! Capital Rowing Club

Mixing things up with a bit of a different workout! Thanks to Brady at in Crystal City for leading us through an awesome and challenging climbing session yesterday for our captain’s practice!

Winter tryouts for high schoolers are here, and spring will be here before you know it!

Learn the basics of the rowing stroke and equipment handling so you’ll be prepared to get on the water with us in the spring! Students at DC area high schools, with the ability to make practice by 4:30pm are all welcome! Come check us out to see if rowing is for you!
