Capital Yacht Club welcomes Annapolis Yacht Club The Wharf
Many thanks to the C*C staff in hosting the Embassy of Sweden and some of their America 250 activities. The embassy is offering tours of the stunning tall ship Kalmar Nyckel, the Tall Ship of Delaware. This is a replica of the flagship for Gov. Peter Minuit’s 1638 expedition that founded the first colony of New Sweden at Fort Christina, the first permanent European settlement in the Delaware Valley, now present-day Wilmington. Learn more about the ship at kalmarnyckel.org. The Wharf
