You’re already hot, why not try yoga?

Your hot yoga practice is a super power. You know how to hydrate, replenish, and take breaks as needed.
Take care of yourself this weekend and practice in studio (we know you’re not taking a 2 hour hike in this weather, so you might as well do yoga 😘) or join us on Zoom.
Self care is community care. If you see an unhoused neighbor in need, offer water and call the DC shelter hotline at 202-399-7093. Just ask before calling! As always, call 911 for emergencies. Cooling centers are available around DC, including Raymond rec center near the Petworth metro.
Stay safe, stay cute, and when in doubt, drink more water!

If you can’t beat the heat, join it! Practice with us all weekend in studio, or on Zoom from afar! Our Friday and Saturday schedule is normal- please note we will have a special 12 PM 26&2 75 minute class Sunday, plus our 4 PM 26&2 + Yin class. No 10 AM or 2 PM on Sunday 7/5.

We had so much fun at our 84 asanas workshop! Thank you .christina for a fabulous class, and thank you yogis for bringing open minds and hearts to practice. We can’t wait to do it again!
Party time: the only hydration break we believe in.
🧘 🤝 ⚽️ (And a little 🇹🇷 vs 🇺🇸 preview)
Hot yoga, like the beautiful game, calls us to stay fully present in body, mind, and spirit for 90 minutes- with a savasana at half time of course.
Hydrate well BEFORE class so you feel good during class. Reaching for water every other minute can interrupt your moving meditation.
As your yoga practice deepens, you’ll learn how best to take care of yourself while minimizing distractions.
On days where you realize you didn’t hydrate enough before class (we’ve all been there) be extra kind to yourself and take breaks and water as needed.
Check out our 84 asanas workshop with Christina Hong this Saturday 6/27 from 2-4 PM. Link in bio to sign up.
Did you know that 26&2 yoga comes from a larger sequence of 84 asanas? The full sequence is increasingly hard to find, and a MUST TRY for hot yoga lovers.
