Our Saturday morning classes are canceled on Saturday, September 12. If you are a member with an unlimited membership, you're welcome to come to the gym and work on your skills with your 24 hour access. Have a wonderful weekend!

Tomorrow is the 25th anniversary of the day that 19 terrorists carried out attacks on three different locations: The World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and - due to the bravery of the passengers and crew on Flight 93 - an empty field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. That day 2,977 people were killed in the deadliest terrorist attacks in American history.

Crossfit Haymaker will be doing a Hero WOD tomorrow as our way of remembering and honoring those who lost their lives that day. We invite you to join us in somber reflection as our community takes on this difficult challenge.

Because so many of our Haymaker athletes are participating in the Fellowship Missions Run for Hope tomorrow morning, we will be canceling our Saturday morning classes. Best of luck to all of the runners as you take on this challenge! It's a very worthy cause.

Haymaker will be running the water station from 10am to noon. If any Haymaker athletes want to support the community by doing something other than running, we could use some extra hands!

We’ve started group swim sessions on Monday & Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:30 pm at the Warsaw Community High School pool. Cost is $4 dollars and a workout is provided for each skill level. Coaches are on hand to help as needed. Kids are welcome and there are life guards on duty. So come join the fun! The more the merrier!

Hey runners! Tomorrow, Saturday, August 22, we'll have a trail run at 2pm. Meet in Winona Lake at the Boys City Drive trail entrance. One group will run with Coach Sarah at a 11:30-12:00 mile pace. Another group will be running with Coach Ryan at a 9:45-10:30 mile pace. If you don't feel like running, feel free to come with a Ruck and go at your own pace. Keep an eye on the whiteboard at the gym for dates, times, and places of other upcoming runs.

One week ago Jeremiah Paseka took on the challenge of doing 24 straight hours of cardio, to support his mother, Bev, who is battling cancer. Jeremiah, with a little help from his wife Abby, worked to accrue over 12,000 calories. Friends who stopped by the gym to work beside Jeremiah accumulated a grand total of 24,140 calories in just 24 hours! The donations gathered totaled over $2,000 to go toward Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. We are so proud of Jeremiah's fierce determination and are so grateful for the way our community has rallied around his family. We want to be a fitness community where the community is valued more than the fitness, and this was a beautiful example of that in action. What an accomplishment!
