Smart Soccer 2005 promo lots going on. This was a time when I worked closely with the late, great Tony Waiters a pioneer of youth soccer education and a good all round man.

My letterhead signed by Gordon Banks who had a few beers with the Smart Soccer coaches working a camp near him. I wasn't there but he did sign a shirt for me as well. Also the first ever Smart Soccer logo circa 1988.

As the founder of Smart Soccer it wasn't always about coaching I still got to play a bit back in the day. One photo was playing for the Philadelphia Freedom and the other from the game against CD Mexico in the 1993 US Open Cup Final. Although we were well beaten on the day it was still a great experience.

'Then and now' photos of Makayla and I from her soccer beginnings at u5 to current times where she now coaches with me. Soccer is (should be) a game for life I'm sure Makayla will continue playing into college and beyond! Thanks to Makayla's mom Chris for the 'then' photo.
