For over 20 years The Academy of Dance Arts has been a training ground for dancers in Chicago and surrounding areas. We offer training in all genres of dance. Day one of Jr Tap Team choreography has officially begun! 🎵👟
The second “We Got the Beat” came on, the excitement was real — and it’s the perfect soundtrack for this crew, because with Miss Jamie leading the way, they’re going to get the beat, one step at a time.
Tap is one of the most joyful (and challenging!) styles to learn — every foot becomes an instrument, and every practice builds rhythm, teamwork, and confidence.
So proud of this group for diving in on day one. Day one begins the journey. 👟🥁

Dance gets called an individual sport. Solos are nice, but a strong foundation is built on trust and people that believe in you — ask the dancer who joined this summer, or the one who just moved up a level. This team already has them covered. New season starts now. 🤍
