š©µā”TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY: BRITTANY LEACH ā”š©µ
What was supposed to be just four weeks became two years of choosing herself in the middle of a life that constantly asks her to choose everyone else. Brittany walked in looking for motivation and found strength, confidence, and a community that gave her the space to take care of herself too. Today, she is stronger in every way and showing her kids just how powerful it is to make yourself a priority.
Read Brittany's full story below š
"I started at Burn at the end of May 2024, during a 4-week promotional. A friend had asked me to go with her, and I said yes to support her but deep down I was also starving for motivation to start working out again. The intent was to do the 4-weeks at Burn, thinking that was long enough to form the habit, then go back to doing my home workouts. If you knew me back then, I was not keen on group fitness or even working out with people in general. I was more of a home-gym type person. Quick 30-minute workout in my garage, when I could fit it in. Growing up and early adulthood, my fitness came from playing sports. I lived a very athletic lifestyle until having my children. Life became very different quickly and finding time to work out or making a workout was difficult for me. Working full-time and being a mother of two under two was my new normal. My time was everyone elseās time. I was stuck in this rut for years and eventually realized that I needed to take care of myself too but how with my busy schedule? Then I found Burn. I promised myself that I would stick with in-person camps for four weeks. That seemed like a reasonable goal to start with. After two weeks, I knew I had found my place. Working out with others wasnāt so bad after all. The encouragement and accountability that filled the room and outside those doors really stuck with me and was actually what I needed. Not only that, but I also felt better mentally and physically. My family and friends noticed the difference as well. Fast forward two years, and life is still busy, but I am much stronger. The growth that has happened in just two years amazes me. I am proud of myself for staying. It has not been easy, but has definitely been worth it. Thank you Burn for providing a safe place for moms to show up for themselves and be examples for our kids."

š©µā”RENEGADE OF THE WEEK: BRITTANY ROBERTS š©µā”
Brittany is the kind of woman who keeps showing up, embraces the challenge, and continues to prove to herself just how strong she really is. š She works incredibly hard, lets herself be pushed outside her comfort zone, and brings such a positive energy to the people around her. We are SO proud to celebrate Brittany as this weekās Renegade of the Week!
Favorite Protocol?
Definitely MetCon! The combination of strength and conditioning always leaves me feeling stronger and more confident. Itās usually considered one of the āhardestā protocols, so finishing a MetCon camp gives me an extra sense of accomplishment. If I survive it, Iām counting that as a win!
Why Burn?
The community is everything. Iāve always enjoyed working out in a group setting, but Burn is truly unmatched. From the trainers to the other members, there is always someone encouraging you, pushing you, and reminding you that youāre capable of more. Iām definitely guilty of doing ājust enough,ā so I love having trainers who know my potential and arenāt afraid to push me outside of my comfort zone. Plus, I love not having to think about my workout, all I have to do is show up and get to work!
Advice for new members?
Show up. Even on the days when you absolutely do NOT want to, show up anyway. Youāll almost always feel better after the workout and proud of yourself for choosing to show up for YOU. Donāt be afraid to modify, either. Thereās no shame in meeting yourself where you are. Be consistent, trust the process, and youāll be amazed at the progress you make!
