Our tuition is structured as one rate for the entire dance season, divided into easy monthly payments. When you register before classes begin, you get the full season at that rate.

Once classes start, late registrations must also pay for the classes they missed — so waiting can actually cost you more!

Another new teacher intro!

Elissa Byrd has been dancing for over 17 years. She has danced with many companies in her DFW area hometown. Elissa moved to the Manhattan area to attend K-State as a pre-vet student studying Fisheries, Wildlife, Conservation Biology, and Ecology with a minor in Classical Studies and a non-profit Leadership certificate. Elissa has experience in competition, studio, and both pre-professional and professional dance. She is excited to join the Kanvas team and help students thrive with her passion for dance.

✨ The Foundation Every Young Dancer Deserves ✨

Ages 5–7 are some of the most important years in a dancer's development. That's why our Foundational Level 1 program is designed to introduce children to dance in a way that is joyful, engaging, and age-appropriate while building the skills they'll use for years to come.

💖 Taught by Studio Director Anneliese Troxell, with over 25 years of teaching experience, every class is carefully designed to help children grow through movement. Classes are fun, musical, creative, playful, and educational—while developing strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence, and friendships along the way.

Our Monday Foundation Program:

👞 4:30–5:30 | Foundational Jazz & Tap Level 1
🩰 5:30-6:00 | Foundational Ballet Level 1

Both classes build on the others, giving your dancer a well-rounded foundation in technique, rhythm, musicality, and self-expression.

Give your child the opportunity to learn from an experienced educator in a positive, encouraging environment where every dancer is seen, challenged, and celebrated.

Classes are filling up!

Please enroll your dancer promptly if you hope to join us for our 2026-2027 season. On August 1st we will close classes that aren't filling, and assess waitlists.

We are also adjusting any enrollments where a dancer might have enrolled in the wrong level. We are able to view the ages of the dancers in each class and are working on identifying any mis-matches now!

Starting dance is a big milestone, and we believe every child deserves an encouraging teacher and a joyful first experience.

Our Foundational Program for ages 5–7 is taught by Mrs. Anneliese, studio founder and Director, whose passion is introducing young dancers to the world of dance in a way that builds confidence, friendships, and a love of learning.

Each week, dancers explore:

Every class is designed to help young dancers develop coordination, musicality, flexibility, and technique—all while having fun and celebrating their progress along the way.
