The FREE Music at the Barn “World Beats” concert at Adams Farm will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on August 15, featuring music from artists with a local connection and global influences.
First up, Los Gallos Locos, the crazy roosters, are three long-time amigos from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the great state of Texas, where Tex-Mex is the flavor of the day every day. They play a blend of original and Latin classics with finesse and infectious energy – think Guantanamera and La Bamba.
Next, Louis Apollon brings his Haitian roots to the stage with his original music, a soothing voice and simple virtuosity on the acoustic guitar, delivering a well-balanced blend of jazz, folk and funk. Each of the members of his trio have impressive professional careers in music of their own. Go to IvannaCuesta.com and DarrenSolomon.com and just be amazed! And don’t forget to visit LouieLouLouis.com.
The Music at the Barn concert series is sponsored by Dagher Wealth Management and Walpole Cooperative Bank. The World Beats concert is on August 15 from noon to 3pm. Bring a picnic and enjoy a fantastic afternoon of music in the beautiful setting of Adams Farm.

Free Concert on Saturday, July 11
This year’s Music at the Barn series begins with a FREE “Sweet Harmonies” concert on Saturday, July 11, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. First up are the Doppelgangers, two unrelated singer songwriters with an uncanny resemblance to each other. But ‘looks’ alone do not complete the story. Musically, they were kindred spirits from the start. Kenny Raskin and RF Berks met at a music camp 10 years ago and have been harmonizing ever since.
Next up are The Ukuladies, a zany and wildly entertaining female duo wielding multiple “ukes” backed by a full band. Kirsten and Stephanie Stetson, both grads of the New England Conservatory of Music, lay Andrews Sisters harmonies on pop songs from the 60s through today. Be prepared to kick off your shoes and dance!
This year’s Music at the Barn concert series is sponsored by Walpole Cooperative Bank and Dagher Wealth Management.
