It has been a while since we have updated the racing page. That doesn’t mean we haven’t been racing, and having success. We have been at the track nearly every weekend this summer and continue to get our young driver seat time. We have put together several strong podium runs in each of the Jr Honda, Jr 160, and Junior Animal divisions.

Today we finally broke through and put multiple cars in victory lane at our final points race at Hagerstown. That is a first for our six year old. We won the heat race in both Jr Honda and Jr 160 and went on to win both features as well. We had a solid fourth place run in our Jr Animal as well, but it seemed to be an uphill battle all day in that car with a high pill draw.

We will head to Keystone tomorrow to try and continue our strong runs before we spend next weekend at HQMA for the BullRider Racecars DTWC!

Thank you to all of our sponsors and partners who make this all possible and continue to help us put fast cars on the track!

Visited Susquehanna today for their Opening Day event. We had a strong showing for a track new track, bringing home a podium finish in two of three classes.

JR Honda-
Heat P1 to P2- driver got a bad start from the pole position but maintained for a P2
Feature P3 to P4- had a strong start but early in the race we got spun from behind sending us to the rear. He was able to work back from 7th for a P4 finish, just running out of laps.

Jr Animal-
Heat P3 to P3- pretty uneventful, ran a solid race and maintained position.
Feature P3 to P3- shuffled back and forth a little bit but ended up with a solid P3 finish.

Jr 160-
Heat- P2 to P2- this car was a rocketship today! Ran a solid heat and maintained position.
Feature- P2 to P2- after getting chopped early in the race and getting sent to the rear🤔, Karter came alive passing back to 2nd and raced with the leader for a significant portion of the race till our car got incredibly tight.

Another great day for a six year old driver. The progress over these past few weeks has been incredible to watch. The future is really bright! 😎

Our driver got it done tonight in his Jr Honda! This was a little extra special as it was our first Junior Class win! We were able to podium in all three cars tonight with a P2 in Jr 160 and a P3 in Jr Animal. Thanks to everyone who makes this possible each week for our 6 year old wheelman!

Last Saturday was our first HQMA points week after the rain out the previous weekend. This weekend our driver showed a ton of growth in areas we have been struggling with after getting back on dirt in the Junior classes. This weekend also brought the first week we were able to compete with all three cars.

Jr Honda-
Heat P1 to P5 -Lead the entire race until three to go and got called for a chop
Feature P10 to P8- This result is really misleading. We worked into position to be passing for a 3rd place podium spot and made contact with the rear bumper of the car in front of us, sending us back to 9th again.

Jr Animal
Heat P2 to P4- Again, lead a significant portion of the race but went out on D10s and when they slowed down we had nothing for the rest of the field on hard tires.
FeatureP4 to P4- Ran a solid race overall. Ran P3 for a significant portion of the race until being passed.

Jr 160
Heat P6 to P6- We started him in the back just to get comfortable in the car with others on the track. He did well and showed good speed.
Feature P6 to P5- Again, we had no expectations in this feature being his first time out in the 160 class. Proud of him for maintaining speed and staying competitive throughout the feature.

Race day results!

We got tangled up in incidents as well as a mental error or two and finished P4 after starting on the Pole in both Jr Honda and Jr Animal.

We rebounded well in the features to podium in both the Honda and the Animal. In Jr Honda we brought home a 3rd with P1, 2, and 3 being glued to each others bumpers for the entire race and just couldn’t advance past each other. Jr Animal we brought home a 2nd place finish, our driver didn’t run his best line but still managed to be effectively fast. Hopefully we will put it all together next weekend when we hit the track again!
