Here’s what NOT to do:

Stop describing the “how” you do what you do. Because someone who needs what you solve for won’t understand.

Instead think of it like before & after…

How do you see the people you work with come in? And how do they leave?

Skip describing the in-between. While that is your skill… people buy the result to get away from their pain.

You’re exhausted, burnt out, feeling plateaued in business, creativity, relationships?!

Here’s why:

When you choose leadership your nervous system is the supplier of every nervous system you lead.

The ceiling of your success is the capacity of your nervous system.

Your classes, workshops, trainings, & business can only grow to the capacity which you can hold.

Yogis, Yoga teachers, & Wellness Entrepreneurs only who are ready to hold more comment ‘grow’ and I’ll send you everything!

I think a lot of people come to Yin training thinking they’re going to learn a bunch of poses.

Eventually you realize the value of a training isn’t learning the shapes.
It’s unlearning what you thought yoga was supposed to be.

It’s learning:
How to be quiet.
Seeing each body and each side of the body unique.
Articulating a cue without controlling.
Realizing sensation isn’t something to conquer.
Feeling stillness is harder than movement.
Differentiating between Yin and Restorative.
Actually understanding meridians instead of throwing them into a sequence because you were told they’re “good for the kidneys.”
Grasping all this nervous system talk and how much it control tension.
Learning the Dao and beginning to understand the philosophy underneath the practice.

And then taking all of that off the mat.
That’s the part I love.

Because eventually Yin stops being:
“another style of yoga I teach/do.”

And becomes another way of understanding yourself, your students, your body, your relationships, your work, and your life.

That’s why I created this training.
And why I still teach it.

3 spots left for September training!

I’ve gone to enough Yin classes to see some interestingly difference of experiences…🤔😭

Honestly, an ill-informed Yin yoga class is my pet peeve.

I’ve also had trouble with finding substitute teachers for classes because there’s a lack of knowledge of where it came from, lack of teachers who’ve done a training, and often students complain when I sub out a class.

Here’s the thing: knowledge is power.

Oftentimes in the trainings I’ve led it’s the students who’ve practiced the most who can hold the practice beyond the tenured Vinyasa teachers.

Can you listen to your body in silence and stillness? You must practice it to teach it. Do you know how to lead people into a state of surrender without force & minimal curing?

That’s exactly why I created this training in 2022. And so many students and teachers walk away realizing how much they didn’t know and then how much it shape shifts everything they teach… and how they show up in their life.
