As The LownsLightshow, we have a yearly tradition of transforming our property for Halloween and Christmas, welcoming locals and visitors to join in the celebrations.

The LownsLightshow will be lighting up the night starting October 1st. If it’s any earlier, I will post here. The schedule will be Sunday-Thursday 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 5:00-10:00 p.m. Please check this page before coming out as there might be weather delays. If it’s raining steady I will most likely be off that evening.

Please be safe, and cautious of other vehicles. If you could please use your hazards.

I cannot make this more clear. Do NOT come on my property!! This guy got out and was walking on my property, and when I noticed him and asked him what he wanted, he proceeded to tell me he knew me. I have never seen this guy a day in my life. He kept proceeding to try and get closer, telling me yet again he thinks he knows me. I told him I do not, I am armed, and that he needs to leave. This is NOT OKAY!! Thank god for my dogs keeping him at a distance. On that note, I am armed and I will protect myself and my property

Hello new followers, I just wanted to say welcome! Here is a rundown on my light display. We are located at 5670 Davis Road, Walkertown, NC 27051. We live on a dead-end road, so please turn around down there as my neighbors only request is don’t use their driveways. You can take photos and videos but only along the roadway as I have lots of hazards all throughout my yard.

If there is inclement weather and/ or it’s raining, we will most likely shut off for the night. I will always update the page, so check that before heading out. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.

Just a little reminder to those that vandalized my Christmas display last year. I have added more cameras, and I will press charges. Do not come to my home and ruin it for everyone else. How you can take the good someone does for the community and try to do harm to someone’s property is beyond me.

I know this is going to hit people like a ton of bricks, but after a lot of thought and back-and-forth with myself on this topic, I want to let everyone know that this last Christmas display will be my last year of decorating on the level that I have in previous years. I will still decorate, but on a much smaller scale. The price of items, the quality of items, time, and the sacrifices made to get it all up within a certain time, the weather beating the heck out of stuff, and the physical aspect are just too much. This spring and summer, I will be selling off the pieces I no longer wish to keep and starting to consolidate the contents of what I own. I have enjoyed the many years of doing this, but it is time for me to pass the torch. I will still keep this page and remind folks that you can still come see what I have done, but it just won’t be as massive. Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed my displays over the years.

I wanted to come on and apologize for the abrupt shutdown of our Christmas display. We started having electrical issues on Christmas Eve with our entire house and were told to shut it down immediately. We are still trying to trace the issue and hope to have an answer soon. With that being said, I hope you all have a wonderful New Year! Thank you for your ongoing support of the LownsLightshow.
