“She already practices several days a week. How are we supposed to fit in strength training too?”

We hear this from parents often—and we understand why.

Between practices, games, school, homework, tournaments and everything else, young athletes already have a lot on their plates.

But here’s the distinction we want parents to understand:

Sport practice and strength training aren’t doing the same job.

Practice gives your daughter opportunities to develop the skills she needs for her sport.

Strength training gives her an opportunity to intentionally develop physical qualities that support her as an athlete—things like strength, power, coordination, body control and movement skills.

That doesn’t mean the answer is simply more, more, more.

Smart athlete development means considering the whole picture: her sport schedule, strength training, recovery, nutrition, sleep and life outside athletics.

That’s a big part of what we’re building through StrongHer.

We don’t want to add workouts just for the sake of doing more.

We want the training she does to have a purpose. 💜

Are you exercising—or are you training?

There’s nothing wrong with exercising just because you enjoy moving. Walking, classes, biking, recreational activities—they all count.

But when you have a specific goal, your workouts should have a reason behind them.

Training means there’s a plan.

What you’re doing today connects to what you did last week and where you’re trying to go next.

Your exercises, weights, reps and progressions have a purpose—and they evolve as you do.

That’s especially important after 40, when maintaining strength, muscle, balance and the ability to keep doing the things you love becomes increasingly valuable.

At 2PiFit, we don’t just want you to complete workouts.

We want you to understand what you’re working toward—and have a plan to get there. 💚

“I want to get toned… I just don’t want to get bulky.”

We hear some version of this from women all the time.

But before we talk about the workout, there’s a better question to ask:

What does “toned” mean to you?

Usually, when someone uses that word, she’s describing greater muscle definition.

And here’s the part that often gets misunderstood:

Muscle is part of what creates that definition.

Yes, strength training can build muscle. But how much muscle you build and how your body changes are influenced by your training program, training volume, nutrition, consistency, genetics, and individual response.

That’s why we don’t think the answer is simply telling women, “Don’t worry. You won’t get bulky.”

We’d rather understand what you want.

Do you want to see more muscle definition?
Feel stronger?
Keep up with the activities you love?
Maintain strength and independence as you get older?

Because your training should reflect your goals.

And remember: muscle isn’t only about appearance. The strength you’re building in the gym supports what you’re able to do outside of it, too.

So instead of being afraid of building muscle, let’s get clear about what you want your body to be able to do—and train accordingly. 💚

Your workout doesn’t start with your first lift—and it doesn’t end with your last rep. 👀

It can be tempting to fly through your warm-up so you can get to the “real” workout or rush through your cool-down because you’re ready to be done.

But both are there for a reason.

A good warm-up helps prepare your body and mind for the work ahead. And taking the time to finish your session intentionally is part of developing better training habits.

That means slowing down, paying attention to how you’re moving, and understanding that going through the motions isn’t the same as doing the work.

At StrongHer, we’re not only teaching athletes how to get stronger.

We’re teaching them how to understand their bodies, take ownership of their training, and develop habits that can support them throughout their athletic careers.

Train hard. Train smart. Do the whole workout. 💜

Every woman who walks through our doors brings a different story.

Some are balancing careers, raising families, or caring for aging parents.

Some are returning after an injury.

Some are walking into a gym for the very first time.

Others have been exercising for years but are looking for guidance to reach the next level.

That’s why personalized coaching matters.

Real coaching isn’t about giving everyone the same workout.

It’s about understanding your goals, your experience, your challenges, and helping you move forward with a plan that fits your life.

Some days that means pushing you a little harder.

Other days it means adjusting the workout, celebrating a small win, or simply helping you stay consistent during a busy season.

That’s what coaching looks like at 2PiFit.

Not because every member is the same…

But because every member deserves an approach that meets them where they are.

💜 The best coaching isn’t about creating the perfect workout. It’s about helping the right person succeed with the right plan.

If you’ve ever had a coach who truly understood what you needed, we’d love to hear about it.

What made that experience different?

Apparently, Coach Appreciation Day requires teamwork, trivia, questionable poses…and absolutely no dignity. 😂

A few members of our 2PiFit team headed to Cuyahoga Falls for a scavenger hunt, and it’s safe to say we committed to the challenges. 💪😂

There was plenty of laughing, a little friendly competition, some very creative interpretations of the photo challenges, and a whole lot of fun.

We’re incredibly grateful for all of our 2PiFit coaches — including those who couldn’t join us for this adventure — and everything they do for our clients, our athletes, and each other.

Sometimes the team that works hard together just needs an afternoon to be ridiculous together. ❤️

We appreciate you, 2PiFit team!

✨ Client Spotlight: Denise ✨

When Denise joined 2PiFit, she wanted to get healthier, stronger, and lose some weight.

She had tried Weight Watchers and Nutrisystem and was already exercising, but the results never seemed to stick. She also wasn’t sure what exercises or weights she should be doing—and knew she needed something designed specifically for her.

Since joining 2PiFit, Denise has noticed changes that go far beyond the gym. 💪

She feels stronger doing everyday tasks. She has more energy. She’s eating healthier, changing her eating habits, and—one of the things she’s most proud of—she keeps showing up for her workouts.

Denise has also had to work through physical ailments that sometimes prevent her from doing the things she loves. Instead of focusing on what she can’t do, she’s learned just how much she can do.

“The ladies at 2PiFit have shown and taught me I can do more than I thought I could, one step at a time!”

And perhaps our favorite thing Denise has discovered along the way:

“I’m stronger mentally, physically + emotionally than I thought I was. I truly enjoy working out!”

We love watching you get stronger, Denise—and we’re so proud of the commitment you’ve made to yourself. ❤️

The strongest thing we build isn’t always muscle.

One of the greatest transformations we see in StrongHer isn’t measured by how much weight an athlete lifts or how high she jumps.

It’s the confidence she develops along the way.

Confidence grows every time she learns a new skill, overcomes a challenge, encourages a teammate, or realizes she’s capable of more than she thought.

Those moments matter because they extend far beyond sports.

Our goal has never been to simply create stronger athletes. We want to help young women develop the confidence, resilience, and self-belief they’ll carry into every area of life.

Because the lessons learned through strength training don’t end when practice is over—they become part of who they are.

💜 StrongHer is about building strong athletes and even stronger young women.
