West Marine has filed for Chapt 11 bankruptcy! Most stores will remain open during restructuring, but 60 stores are closing, including our closest store in Oceanside.

Some good deals to be had in the “going out of business” stores, but all sales are final. They are stamping receipts so you can’t return them at another store.

The West Marine extended warranties will still be honored at the other stores.

Should be a good one!

It’s that time of year! You can hang on to expired flares, but the USCG has found that they can be unreliable, so you need to stay current.

You CAN NOT throw expired flares in the trash. If you can’t make it to one of these events, you can dispose of expired flares at your local fire station and some hazardous waste dumps.
