We have a terrific full day of racing on Saturday! The first race goes off at Pimlico at 7:30am PDT and the racing continues through 5:30pm at Santa Anita! All together we have 25 terrific races on the day!

We're venturing $297 at Pimlico playing 2 Pick Fours, the P6, and 5 50C Trifecta Boxes.

Only 4 days to go for the Kentucky Derby and most of the inquires I've received are wondering the pace scenario of the big race. I always wait until the post positions are drawn before making my pace assumption. Often it matters greatly if the speed is inside or outside or spread out.

I remember a few years back (2005) when the spreed was balanced and they all went off like a rocket, leaving 2 huge long shots to pick up the pieces for first and second place. This worked terrifically for our Pick Three ticket that year, where despite 2 large favorites, we took "All" on the Derby to collect over $10,000!

It's always terrific to close out the new week like we did last Sunday, hitting the final P4 and Trifecta.

The 12-day Thoroughbred Meet starts at Los Alamitos on Thursday. It's a nice 8-Race card with over 80 horses entered!
The longest closing stretch run in all of horse racing is a joy to watch and adds a different dynamic to the sport. The top jockeys and many of the top horses are expected to compete.

Races will be four days per week, Thursday through Sunday, over the next 3 weeks. They will have an early 50C P5, Two 50C P4's, a $2 Pick Six. There will be no Place Pick All, as Del Mar is the only one remaining in California with that great wager.

We did well on closing day at Del Mar last Sunday taking 5 of 6 on the P6 for $179, hit our P3 for $92, and picked up $369 on the Pick 4. A good way to close out the Meet!

On Opening Day at Los Al we'll invest $171 as follows:

The opening weekend at Del Mar starts Saturday with an early First Post at Noon PST.

We've got no less than 10 plays on Saturday spreading $312 over the nine race card.

Despite the long long layoff, I do like #10 as a long shot in the final race, and am singling him on my P6 Ticket.

The Breeder's Cup was simply fantastic again this year with the expected Huge Prices as unexpected horses won over and over!

Our Breeder's Cup Package buyers enjoyed us being RIGHT In THE CLASSIC where our Top Pick Bayern went wire to wire at 7:1 and our Long Shot 16:1 Toast of New York ran second giving everyone a $624.50 exacta payoff. We also heard from many customers who boxed our 5 Classic selections in a trifecta which paid over $1,000.00.

In a side play, we figured Judy The Beauty was the Best single on the day, so we took All in the fourth, to All in the fifth, with Judy The Beauty our single in the sixth. Our 50C Pick Three cost $66 and returned over $2200, a great example of being smart and LUCKY.
The smart part was singling Judy The Beauty and the Lucky part was catching a $125,40 winner in the first All leg and another $13.00 winner in the second All leg. Adding this win with our triumph in the Classic we ended up with a very nice day on Saturday!

Sunday is closing day at Santa Anita feathering an absolutely Huge P6 Carryover of over $1,3000,000!
