Our hearts are with the Smith family, who unexpectedly lost their mom and grandma this weekend.

Teresa "Mama T" Smith was an avid baseball fan and a staple at Optimist fields, cheering on her son, grandson, and all of his teammates.

For all of us that have the privilege of knowing Tyler, he gives countless hours to RBVLL maintaining our fields, coaching our kids, and going the extra mile to make our league so special. Now, it's our turn to show him the love and support that he and the entire Smith family have given RBVLL.

Our 10U and 11U All-Stars battled through every game with hardwork, grit, and teamwork, earning the title of District 70 champions.

Both teams went undefeated in this week's tournament in front of their home crowd fans, and we could not be more proud of our players, coaches, and families who represented RBVLL with pride.
