This summer, Justin headed out to High Cascade Snowboard Camp at Mt. Hood, Oregon, and sent us this video of him training on the dry-slope airbag and working on his next tricks. Of course, we had to share it! 🏂

We’re lucky to have employees who don’t just work in the shop. But they genuinely live and breathe skiing and snowboarding. Their passion for the sport shows.

A huge shoutout to Justin for all the hard work he puts in both here at the shop and on the mountain. Keep pushing yourself. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

Consider this ski boot our official summer storage warning ⚠️🎿

Rick keeps this boot in the shop as proof that attics and garages are NOT the place for your ski gear.

What happened? Well… years ago, his wife stored one of his old pairs in the attic, and Virginia summer heat did what Virginia summer heat does best. To be fair, they were retired boots! Rick goes through ski boots a little more often than the average skier 😅 but still… yikes.

The moral of the story: heat and humidity can break down plastics, liners, and adhesives over time.

Our advice? Skip the attic. Skip the garage. Your future ski self will thank you.

Disclaimer: This wasn’t a brand issue or a model issue. This was 100% user error. We’re putting all the blame on the attic. 🤷‍♂️☀️
